冯象初，教授、2001年获评博导。第6、7届陕西省计算数学学会副理事长。主要研究方向为图像处理的数学模型和算法。主持国家自然科学基金等多项科研项目，发表研究论文200余篇，出版专著（科学出版社）和教材五部，获得陕西省科学技术一等奖、教育部科技进步奖等。

Xiangchu Feng is professor, Ph. D. supervisor, and the 7th and the 8th vice director of Shaanxi Computational Mathematical Society. His research mainly focuses on mathematic model and algorithm of image processing. He chaired projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation and other foundations, published more than 200 journal papers and earned first prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Award and National Scientific and Technological Progress Award from Ministry of Education.
