刘三阳，教授、1996年获评博导。国家级人才，国家教学名师，陕西省首批师德楷模、教书育人楷模，九、十届全国人大代表，现任全国政协委员、国家教材委专委会委员、教育部教指委委员、陕西省教指委数理类副主任。主要从事最优化理论及其应用研究，获陕西省科技一等奖2项、省部级科技二等奖4项、国家级教学成果奖3项、陕西省教学成果奖10多项。出版国家规划教材2部，并先后获陕西省优秀教材一二等奖。担任国内外5个杂志编委。享受国务院特殊津贴。

Sanyang Liu is a Professor and PhD supervisor in School of Mathematics and Statistics, Xidian University. He was awarded the National Outstanding Teacher by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, supported by the National Talents Plan, and received Government Special Allowance from the State Council. He is also elected as a member of the CPPCC.
His main research area is Optimization Methods and Applications. He has published more than 500 papers, including global hot papers and ESI highly cited papers. He obtained 3 National Teaching Achievement Awards, 10 Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards, 6 first-class and second-class prizes of Shaanxi Science and Technology awards. Two of his textbooks were awarded the National Planned Textbooks. He has supervised more than 300 MSc and PhD students.
