报告人简介:刘志华:2004年于北京师范大学博士毕业后留校工作至今,现为教授,博导。主要研究微分方程定性理论,动力系统及其应用。在时滞微分方程的定性理论,非稠定柯西问题的分支理论和正规型理论,结构种群模型的分支问题方面均获得了一系列结果。在J. Differential Equations, SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, Z. Angew. Math. Phys., J Nonlinear Sci等国际期刊杂志上已接受发表学术论文多篇,主持完成国家自然科学基金多项,现正主持一项国家自然科学基金面上项目。
报告摘要:In this talk, we introduce several differential equations models of COVID-19 epidemics that use early reported case data to predict the future number of cases. These models incorporate three important elements of COVID-19: (1) the number of asymptomatic infectious individuals (with very mild or no symptoms), (2) the number of symptomatic reported infectious individuals (with severe symptoms), and (3) the number of symptomatic unreported infectious individuals (with less severe symptoms). We will report some recent progress of the study on bifurcations of age structured models.
