报告人简介:陶有山,上海交通大学数学科学学院特聘教授。曾先后于南京大学、复旦大学、苏州大学分别获得理学学士、硕士和博士学位。主要研究方向为偏微分方程,特别是趋化交叉扩散方程,已在JEMS, PLMS, JFA, ANIHPC, SIMA, SIAP, Inverse Problems等国际数学或应用数学期刊上发表论文90余篇,MR引用3100余次;2018-2021年连续四年入选科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”;现担任2份国际期刊Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications和EMS Surveys in Mathematical Sciences的编委。
报告摘要:This talk firstly reports a recent joint work with Michael Winkler (Paderborn), and it concerns a three-component chemotaxis model which accounts for spatially heterogeneous dynamics of viral infection. In contrast to the classical Keller-Segel type systems, the considered attractant is produced in an inherently nonlinear mechanism. We develop an approach capable of detecting taxis-driven blow-up in this complex model, as known virus hotspot formation phenomena observed in biological experiments. Moreover, this lecture also briefly introduces a full cross-diffusion system describing the pursuit-evasion interaction between predators and preys, as well as a doubly degenerate nutrient taxis system to model the formation of various morphological aggregation patterns observed in colonies of Bacillus subtilis growing on the surface of thin agar plates.
